These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by Bridge the Gap Hub CIC ("the Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a Community Interest Company registered in the United Kingdom.
By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. About Us
Bridge the Gap Hub CIC is a UK-based Community Interest Company established to deliver services for community benefit. Our activities may include training, support services, workshops, and community programmes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services unless you are participating under supervision or with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Our Services
We provide services including, but not limited to:
Employment workshops designed to improve employability skills
One-to-one mentoring and personal development support
Employer engagement activities, including job matching and partnerships with employers
Digital access support, including assistance with online tools, job applications, and digital skills
We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue any service without prior notice.
3.1 Outcome Expectations
While we do not guarantee employment outcomes, our services are designed to support participants to:
Improve employment readiness, including CV development, interview skills, and workplace confidence
Access job opportunities through employer engagement activities
Develop transferable skills for long-term career progression
Increase digital confidence and ability to access online services
Any job placement or employment opportunity is subject to external employer requirements and market conditions, which are outside of our control.
3.2 Participant Commitments
By engaging with our services, participants agree to:
Attend scheduled sessions punctually and notify us of any absence where possible
Actively participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, and activities
Provide accurate and up-to-date information relevant to their participation
Treat staff, partners, and other participants with respect and professionalism
Use any provided digital resources responsibly and lawfully
Failure to meet these commitments may result in suspension or removal from services at our discretion.
3.3 Employer Partnership Terms
Where we engage with employers, the following principles apply:
We act as a facilitator between participants and employers and do not act as the employer
Employers are solely responsible for recruitment decisions, employment contracts, and workplace conditions
We do not guarantee job placements or employment outcomes
Employers partnering with us are expected to provide fair, lawful, and non-discriminatory opportunities
Any issues arising within employment must be addressed directly with the employer
We reserve the right to withdraw from partnerships with employers who do not align with our values or legal obligations.
4. Bookings and Payments
· All bookings must be made through approved channels.
· Fees must be paid in full prior to service delivery unless otherwise agreed.
· We reserve the right to refuse service where payment has not been received.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the service date may be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days may not be refundable.
We reserve the right to cancel services and will offer rescheduling or a full refund where applicable.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Behave respectfully towards staff and participants
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Not disrupt or interfere with our operations
We reserve the right to remove individuals from services for inappropriate behaviour.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Bridge the Gap CIC remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use materials without prior written consent.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
10. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
We are committed to assessing the effectiveness and impact of our services. As part of this:
We may collect data relating to participant engagement, progress, and outcomes
Participants may be asked to complete surveys, feedback forms, or attend review sessions
We may use anonymised data for reporting to funders, partners, and stakeholders
We may track outcomes such as employment progress, skills development, and digital inclusion
All data collection and reporting will be conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

Provide services that are accessible and inclusive to individuals from all backgrounds
Do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation
Aim to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants, staff, and partners
Any concerns regarding discrimination or unfair treatment should be reported to us and will be addressed promptly.
12. Alignment with UK Frameworks and Standards
Our services are designed to align with relevant UK frameworks and best practices, including:
Employability and skills development standards commonly used by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Local authority commissioning and community service delivery expectations
Safeguarding and duty of care requirements for working with vulnerable individuals
Where required, we may adapt our delivery and reporting to meet specific funder or contractual obligations.

We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Any concerns will be handled in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
